There is some offer going on @ Rs. 35 pm (may be rs. 30). all local sms will be charged @ 10p

Delhi.

Rs.8/- ERecharge, All local calls @30p for 30 days.

Got this on balance screen, even the dealer didn't knew about this.
Had to confirm this twice from customer care people.

Also std calls @0.99 till 28th June, without any additional pack.
saw this on balance screen too.

Airtel has got the fear of being overtaken by other operators I guess. Even in chennai they r introducing lot of booster and full talk time offers often. I find this Booster 61 some what ok.

A2A-20 ps
A2M-49 ps
100 sms free per day.

Besides this for the past two weeks v got full talktime for Rs. 50 topup, Rs. 310 talktime on 301 topup, 1100 Rs on 1000 topup..etc

Yes its True... Airtel was in a fear of new operators... However the subscribers can enjoy more benefits due to such competitions....

In a saturated market like America,

Unlimited Calls @2800/month to all states (means whole country),

and considering they have MNP, & competition from VOIP (skype etc.)
& even then ,their call rates are 10x india's call rates.

So once MNP is in India, We can expect UL calling @ 500, if not 280/-,
& once VOIP is legalized, we can expect UL @300/-

These are just rough approximation.

Talktime: 100 (so in effect, Rs.122 monthly rental, for Free MTNL calls)

others Local : Free (All network)

After MNP, I think atleast, this plan will be available with Airtel, otherwise i will switch to MTNL)

That plan is surely good so many benefits specially std @ 50p and rent is just Rs.122 and also extra TT on Top up
