In 2009 we will see mobile telephony in India getting hot with
1) New gsm/cdma players coming to market. Reliance gsm already launched.
2) Introduction of Mobile Number Portability(MNP) so change a operator without no change.
3) 3G services to be started soon by mtnl/bsnl and later by pvt operators.

so there will be whole of things to be discussed on India Mobile forum

Who knows we may have better prizes for top 10 posters of 2009.

only 1 problem , recently IMF's URL has been changed and this site often shows ERROR. what is the problem ?? as a result i often can't visit this forum for last 1and half months !

dude i know it ! but suprisingly when i try to browse it during 1500-1800 hrs, it shows ERROR ..but after 2000 it starts to work !

Most probably dns issue ... happening only to bsnl/mtnl users. Ok I also admit nformit user of this is unable to open this site from past few days he is using opera mini on airtel gprs.

Ok till now only coolguy has been given recharge voucher. All those left will be done positively by tomorrow.

Guys If you are having BSNL and MTNL broadband connection you can try alternate DNS this will speed up your net connection as well open the forum without any problem.
For Windows Xp users :
Click Network Connections from the Control Panel .



Choose your connection from the Network Connections window



Click Properties button




Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties

Click the radio button Use the following DNS server addresses and type in DNS addresses in the Preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server fields.
Preferred DNS server :208.67.222.222
Alternate DNS server address :208.67.220.220





Click ok
I’m a BSNL broadband user and once I was also a victim of this DNS glitch.
But after using alternate DNS .The problem has been sorted out

And what about Airtel broadband my cousin has it.From his pc only sometimes i am able to access this forum !

no its happening for all user as i think because i have tried from airtel gprs (my own) smart gprs (my friend's) tata indicom (in a cyber cafe )

so i donot think its happening only to bsnl/mtnl users

U got only Rs.45 ????
Well my fathers phone reliance i dont know how much talktime he had before but i think minimum Rs 150 - 200 i got & i did not receive recharge sms.
Called up cc they r saying they can only say my current balance (they r not able to say how much talktime i got).
