All of us are discussing about losing our weight and be healthy and fit. Everyone of us is kind enough to share their fitness mantras and diets with the rest on this forum. I tried to follow a diet too but could not carry it forward, lack of consistency, craving for an occassional pastry, lazyness for working out....just my work and me. I put on more weight day by day. I feel ashamed to say that i just could not keep up the consistancy and would over eat. How many do i write here, i think all of us have some or the other reasons about not able to lose our weight. Then i read an article in Femina about a diet consultant about losing weight, and about her book that has just released about losing weight, it seemed intresting and i bought it. the name of the book is - "Don't lose your mind, lose your weight" by Rujuta Divekar.
Frankly I was interested a she is Kareena's dietician and the book has a forward by Kareena herself. But as i started reading it i realised that the title was half correct. Don't lose your mind was correct, but 'Lose your weight was wrong' because the book is all about great nutrition and fitness, and losing weight is an instant and healthy by product of a fit lifestyle

Friends, the book has had a great impact on me... no cramped diets, guilt free eating, just eating right and goos things at right times, and correcting your body clock, with nutrition (not diet) charts for almost all of us, as per our work schedules, late night job schedule, for home makers everything.
At first I was thrilled to read the book, but again I was teased that whether I will be able to keep the consistency of it.... and i was worried too, but withing first three days (THREE DAYS) my body started feeling lighter and more energetic, i started doing more work, and hence i needed more food, i started eating every 2 hrs as told by Rujuta Divekar, and the lazyness just vanished. another great thing was that i lost about 1kg and a half in the first THREE days, that actually made me feel great and that actually made me feel great, and motivated. Although i feel extremely guilty that I am not working out, no exercise at all

due to busy work schedule, and she reccomends physical exercise as a must, I am sure if i start with it, I will start losing weight at faster rate. But friends, let me tell you again, losing weight has become a secondary thing to me now, because now being fit and taking care of my stomach is my primary goal, losing weight has become a body schedule

I know and can feel losing my weight while I am eating correctly and on time.
Friends, this is no kind of a review to the book, a genuine testimonial though, for the author. Please buy the book is promoted at Crossword and has two versions (suiting your body shape A pear and an Apple) and it is for all, girls and well as Guys, cause I can see a good effect on my husband too, although he is able to follow it just 50% due to odd office hours and meetings, but the best thing is he feels energetic and light even at late hours in office. What else does one want?
Thanks to Rujuta Divekar where ever she is for this 'Geeta' on being fit and treating your body as your best friend.
