Spice Mobile announced the launch of its new Spice M-5252 handset which is positioned around its ‘BIG’ value for money proposition.

The new model has dual-GSM SIM capabilities, dual speakers, 2’’ 262 k TFT screen, expandable memory upto 8GB, 1300mAH battery, motion games and music, wireless FM, dual LED torch, MP3 player, digital camera, video recording and intelligent quick search.

Kunal Ahooja, CEO, Spice Mobiles said on the launch, “It has been a constant endeavour at Spice Mobiles to develop new product categories and constantly evolve Indian handset industry. It was evident that budget multi SIM category in India was restricted to few phones with very less features that were unappealing to masses and despite its benefits the category is not as successful. With a vision to reinvent the budget multi SIM category and present a no compromise offering to our valued customers, we conceptualised and launched Spice M-5252, the first phone from our BIG series. I am sure that the handset will be an instant success in India as it is one of its kinds in the multi SIM category and aims at redefining the multi SIM experience.”
The handset is priced at Rs 3,499/-

That battery is too powerful. Spice is putting up pda batteries in normal phones.

Sorry no idea I havn't use .... was commenting on battery specs.
However don't expect much on camera and sound in Rs.3500 that too from spice.

Dont about the camera but sound should be a bit loud as it has dual speakers at the back

motion games seems to be point of attraction, recently i saw a boy playing care race in this i-phone, he used to move the car just by tilting the phone, just looking at it i thought of buying it, then i remembered the cost & dropped the idea. I think i should try with M-5252. Motion games & dual spreakers in 3500 is really worth trying.

i enquired the price in local shop, they are selling it at 3000 & rs. 500 for 4 gb card

Don't expect anything better. Spice phone are assembled from kits manufactured in China.

yes you are right it's chinese, i tried it today at a shop, however for 3000 it's worth what it gives.

one thing i would like to inform for motion game is that there is only 1 motion game that too of rolling dice. i didn't see any option of downloading the game. net net by giving 1 motion game they are claiming as if all motion game can be played.

Can anyone tell me the availability of extra battery from Spice? When the battery will not be functioning in future, can I get original battery from market?

Essar's Ray is another flop ! better use Alcatel mobiles (i think dats d spellin) from TMS !

Spice, Simoco, Micromax, Karbonn etc r here to capture market left by chinese non IMEI handsets !

Guys I have that mobile...

it has been more then 3 mnths...i got it on 2900 rs ...without memory card..

So here are qualities...

1.Camera --- not so good ...VGA camara.. Dnt except much ...
2.Music ----- Fine with speaker ...really loud and clear...but ordinary with earfone..
3.Motion -----Have to shake hard to have motion..but only dice motion game is thr...motion music change is thr...
4.Big Screen---
5.Battery----Really good...work for long...
6.Torch----Good One...
7.Dual Sim-- Really Fine...both work togather..
8.Memory card---support upto 8gb..


Note :: The processor is really slow.. ex. whn u seeing one image then wanna move to next one then have to wait for next one to load...even big size pics cant be loadeed..

over all ... if u can get same mob without cam and motion feature with lower price then go for it....
