Guys Tata Docomo has started their ad campaign here in chennai from yesterday. They use terms like ''Why relive yesterday?" & ''Why follow the herd?" without using their brand name. Looks lik they r trying something new & making ppl guess wat its all about. Hope they live up to our expectations.

well R_GSM offer to call local no @35p/min was gr8, except their ntwrk !

tata cdma is not bad, but offers are poor ! good if u make calls to tata no. heavily !
hope Tata docomo wll come wth midas touch offers !

Obviously yes! Even before taking full network load reliance GSM has many call not reachable, msg failed problems etc etc. Infact I was surprised by their coverage in the beginning. Here in my place within a span of 2 kms they hav installed 3 towers but still wat creates the congestion at this early stage am not able to understand..

Obviously yes I can. But dont expect clarity on the pic coz I just hav a nokia 6085 which is a VGA cam phone. It suks in camera quality.

Well, Their initial offer of Pay as you go or pay per pulse is a paradigm offer...don't you think they are living up to the expectation of doing the new??

Well if wat u said becomes true they wil loose al their customers in nxt 6 months. If wat I said becomes true they wil gain lots of customers through MNp alone rather than new customers. I can assure u on dat. Anyway lets wait n watch

Don't really understand your logic of 'How they will loose all their customers in the next six months'..by offering something so fabulous..if you mean they will not be able to sustain this initial offer like reliance (experience offer) then i choose to wait and watch..

well there is a difference...though reliance got into discounting ..tata docomo has an offer based on fair pricing...pay for what you use..i.e. dont pay for what you don't use..if you talk for 25 sec ...why should you pay for a minute??? so there is no comparison..

Aparna u need to understand the general mindset of indians first. Whoever let it b someone poor or rich they wil go for something which is offered free. I kno ppl who bought reliance GSM sim's jus for d sake those free offers and threw it away once it got over. That's wt my point is! Then how can u tel dat docomo cant b compard wit others just 4 the fact dat they charge pay per use concept? Wen al those 4 or 5 operators dint hav the mindset to giv this kind of charge to customers these ppl hav tried smethin new. U must appreciate them for dat. Dont think I am a Tata fan. Infact I hate them for their broadband and cdma services. But till now they hav done a good job with GSM. In this one week after launch here in chennai I am able to c ppl going crazy for docomo which was not even seen wit reliance GSM here. Let's wait n watch.

Well there std offer of 1p/sec is introductory only and its the offer that has attracted most people however unlike Reliance they havn't given any time frame ... i.e. for how long it'll continue?

Ya they say its an intro offer but they haven't told wen they wil revert back to 2ps/sec still. In another post here in our forum I saw someone mentioning that 27000 secs @ 1p/sec and aft that 2p/sec. Guess this mayb applicable to all subscribers.

tata lifelong prepaid is worth as @lifetime plan - all local callls r 60p ie 1p/1 min
only coaparable offers MTS Mcard 99 for all locl mible @ 30p/min !!
