Mobile Number Portablilty is now again in trouble . Nothing New It MAY b delayed again.

This time the new dates r going to b som where around JULY.
Yes , Mostly Mobile Number Portability [MNP] will be delayed to JULY

If ur thinking whats this MNP or Mobile Number Portablilty then let me tell u its service which will enable or allow Mobile Users to change ther Mobile Operator without changing ther Mobile Number

This is how Indian babus work. They don't value time & hence we are generations away from developed country.

I expect this to come in april so that I can convert my existing no to BSNL 3G and back to airtel after 3 or 4 months when they launch 3G services.

In current scenario i dont think its possible in april or even may bcause ther having prob with upgrading network

in DOT website it is mentioned that BSNL,MTNL and Uninor is far away to implement MNP. DOT told them to install MNP gateways within 15th May 2010.

no such thing mentioned but i think no penalty. uninor is a new operator. so little bit of consider in case of uninor. but BSNL's & MTNL's delaying should not be considered at any cost.
