hi friends,

iam presently in chennai, i have been using edge on my various mobiles on a 2g sim for past 2yrs in chennai, ..recently i bought the HTC hd2, ....with the 2g sim, iam getting rocking3g+ connection for the same unlimited 249 rs..(earlier 199 rs)..i also get the H symbol...browsing youtube and online tv is great ....i hope they continue with the service and i dont get blasted with the 3g service tariffs suddenly...

i am from west bengal, anyone can tell me if so much speed is available here or not in 2G sim??? i already got a 2G sim , and its nearly 7 years old connection.... will it work ??? or i have to buy a new 2G sim????

not yet. since I am gonna get a 3G phone I am going in for a 3G sim card in the coming week.

intially when i bought bsnl sim after withdrawal of airtel's unlimited plan i was going to throw the sim due to bsnl's super slow speed but latter after some 15 days i was able to get 25 KBps(over gprs ) and now this rocking speed .

and i donot think 274/230 will work there on 3G sim.

what is umts/wcdma mode and where is this option in mobile,i use motorola K1 and micromax Q3 for net.pls ans soon
